About Debbie Long
A life long resident of Athens, Alabama, Debbie Long earned her Bachelor of Science in Business from Samford University in 1992.
She began her career in the legal field in 1993 as a paralegal at a law firm in Huntsville, Alabama. As a paralegal, she served all types of people and various companies with litigation, workers’ comp, real estate, domestic, bankruptcy and social security needs.
Debbie entered law school at Birmingham School of Law in January of 2002 and earned her Juris Doctorate in May of 2005.
Becoming a member of the Alabama Bar on September 30, 2005, Debbie worked for one year at a law firm in Athens, before opening up her sole practice in Madison in June of 2007.
Debbie offers a very hands-on approach to taking care of her client’s needs. You will meet with her, not a paralegal or secretary. She will answer your questions and make sure that you are comfortable with the answers you get and the approach that is recommended. This saves the you both time and money.
Debbie is a member of the Limestone and Madison County Bar Association, Alabama State Bar, the Alabama Trial Lawyers, and American Association for Justice and National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.
